Why is BaYou with Love impacted by COVID-19?

One element that makes BaYou with Love so special is that our jewelry production takes place with local artisans in Los Angeles, California. The State of California is taking the issue of COVID-19 very seriously and issued a full stay at home order in March. This has impacted our production team and schedule and, despite our best efforts, will affect all custom jewelry, resizes and new production. California has begun a Resilience Roadmap to gradually open businesses and end the stay at home orders. We are currently in the beginning of Stage 2, which means BaYou with Love's production can gradually begin again the week of May 11th! Our previous orders will take priority in production and each order will be completed on a case by case basis. 

 

Most international shipping is still paused. You may still place your order to reserve your item(s), but BaYou with Love will not be shipping to most countries until FedEx advises. We are currently shipping to Canada, Mexico and Australia on a case by case basis. 

 

Thankfully, our fulfillment center with our in stock products is considered an essential business and is still able to ship many of our orders! This includes most jewelry and all apparel, home and beauty products. Due to COVID-19, there are some changes to their regular shipping times. Our fulfillment center has had an influx of orders because they ship many essential goods for other companies but are currently unable to hire new help due to the virus. Because of this, all in-stock orders shipping within the USA will be shipped within 3-7 business days of the date the order is placed. For a faster delivery, we highly suggest choosing FedEx Express 2 Day or Overnight shipping at checkout. FedEx cannot currently guarantee shipping timelines. 

 

Which jewelry products are currently able to be shipped?

All in stock jewelry is currently able to be shipped as normal to the USA, Canada, Mexico and Australia. This includes earrings, rings and necklaces that are readily available to purchase through the online shop and do not specify that it is custom made. If you are unsure if the product you want is available immediately, please do not hesitate to email us.

 

Items that are currently unavailable for immediate shipment are: the Personalized Collection, the Just For You Collection, anything that must be resized, some wedding bands and some engagement rings. The wedding bands and engagement rings will clearly state on their individual product pages which sizes are immediately available.

 

Are there any shipping delays?

We are striving to ship all in stock orders within 3-7 business days from purchase. Our preferred shipper, FedEx, may also have some slight timeline delays that are out of our control. If you are concerned about the shipping timeline, we suggest selecting the FedEx Express or Overnight delivery options. Through your tracking number you can follow your orders journey to you with an anticipated delivery time. Shipping outside of the USA is currently suspended until further notice except to Canada, Mexico and Australia on a case by case basis.

 

Can you ship outside of the USA?

FedEx has announced guidelines to suspend all non-essential shipments outside of the USA. We value and appreciate our international clientele greatly and, of course, you can still order and reserve your favorite products! Unfortunately, at this time, all shipping outside of the USA is suspended until FedEx recommends is can resume. Once shipping can resume, all reserved international orders will be shipped immediately. Currently, we can still ship to Canada, Mexico and Australia on a case by case basis.

 

My finances have been impacted. Do you have any financing options?

Yes! We now offer Klarna as a Buy Now, Pay Later choice with two different payment options. Please select Pay with Klarna during checkout to see which offers are available to you. You can learn more about Klarna at https://www.klarna.com/us/what-is-klarna/

 

We also offer PayPal credit to applicable customers, offered at checkout.

 

Can I still place a custom order?

Yes! Our design team is still working (from home!) and would love to take this time to work with you on designing a custom piece. Simply email us at orders@bayouwithlove.com to start the custom design process. This includes any of our custom bridal collections, personalized jewelry, bespoke designs or a new design made just for you. Once we design your custom piece, it will be submitted for production once production can legally resume.

 

Can I still create an engagement ring with BaYou with Love?

Yes! Our design team is still working (from home!) and would love to take this time to work with you on designing your special engagement ring and sourcing your perfect stone(s). Simply email us at orders@bayouwithlove.com to start the custom design process. Once we design your custom piece, it will be submitted for production once production can legally resume.

 

What if I have a custom order already in production?

All custom clients have been emailed with personalized updates. If you think that you did not receive an update, please first check your "SPAM" and "PROMOTIONS" folders or email us at sayhello@bayouwithlove.com.

 

Can I still order items you have on preorder?

Yes! All items are preorder are distinctly marked on their product page. Those orders will be submitted and will resume production once legally possible. If you order a preorder item, we will keep you up to date on its timeline through email.

 

I need a ring resized. Can you still do resizes?

At this time, all production is paused and we cannot do resizes. You can, however, order and reserve the ring that you want resized and we will hold it and resize it for you once possible. All resizes have a $75 fee for services.
