Shipping and Returns Policy

Order Confirmation:
As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation email from sayhello@bayouwithlove.com. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase.
Order Shipment:
Bayou with Love does not ship via USPS. Please do not use a PO Box as your shipping address. If you need to change your address, please email us with your order confirmation number as soon as possible at sayhello@bayouwithlove.com. Use of a PO Box will delay your order shipment.
The majority of our jewelry, apparel, home and beauty items are in stock and available to ship from our warehouse within 1-3 business days via your selected shipping method. Some items may have an extended handling time and will ship within 3-7 days via your selected shipping method. Custom made jewelry, Create Your Ring engagement rings and made to order sizes have a standard 4-6 week production time and may require additional time for design and stone sourcing. Our team will be in touch with you during the entire customization process. All items that require additional handling and/or customization time will be marked clearly on the product’s page.
We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out. If you do not receive tracking information from us within seven business days of your order, feel welcome to follow up with us at sayhello@bayouwithlove.com.
International Order Shipment:
We ship to most countries. Please see our check out process to determine if we ship to your location. If we do not ship to your country according to our check out process, please email us at hello@bayouwtihlove.com to see if we can make accommodations.
Items that cannot be shipped internationally will say DOMESTIC ONLY in their description. This only applies to select Home and Beauty products.
THE CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL DUTIES AND TAXES UPON DELIVERY ACCORDING TO YOUR COUNTRY'S LAWS. BaYou with Love is not responsible if you decline to pay these fees or do not make accommodations to sign for your package. If your package is returned to us, you will not be refunded for shipping and will be responsible for reshipment, if needed.
Damages:
Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery. If your item(s) do arrive damaged, please send photos to sayhello@bayouwithlove.com and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf. Please describe the problem in detail and we will do our best to help correct the issue as quickly as possible. Please include photos of the packaging (all angles), the label and the items damaged.
Jewelry Care:
Our commitment to ethical design shines through forming each piece by hand. BaYou jewelry is fine, delicate and must be handled with care & love. Gemstones are fragile and gold is naturally a soft metal and can bend, deform or break without proper care. Some rings may be slightly flexible in their sizing but this MUST be done delicately and with extreme care. These pieces can still break or bend even though they are an open style ring. Please keep ALL jewelry pieces, especially pieces including opals or enamel, completely dry and take off prior to washing your hands, taking a shower, swimming or another other activities with liquids. Apply all hair & beauty products (including lotions and perfumes) prior to putting on your jewelry as chemicals can damage some jewelry. As with any fine jewelry, remove prior to doing household cleaning or using cleaning products. Fine jewelry should be stored in its own box or bag, sealed and airtight, and never be exposed to extreme heat. Our jewelry can be cleaned with a soft cloth. Damaged jewelry is not refundable or replaceable. It may be possible to repair your item for a fee by emailing hello@bayouwithlove.com.

Damaged jewelry is not refundable or replaceable after the standard 30-day return period. It may be possible to repair your item for a fee by emailing hello@bayouwithlove.com. This includes the loss of any precious and semi-precious stones from your jewelry. Exclusions and exceptions may apply.
RETURNS:
You must contact hello@bayouwithlove.com to check if your order is eligible for return or alert us of a return once you have read our policy below. If possible, please include a tracking number (recommended). It is not the responsibility of BaYou with Love if your return is lost in the mail. You must inquire with your courier of choice about their insurance policy for fine jewelry, as couriers typically do not insure fine jewelry above a certain amount. If you require additional insurance, please contact us for special instructions and a provided insured label, which will be invoiced to you before receipt.

The below return policy does not apply to the BaYou With Love Engagement Collection, Bespoke Collection, final sale promotions, and/or any custom-made pieces, including custom resizes, modifications, and made-to-order sizes. These orders, as mentioned above, are final sale and nonrefundable. For questions or clarification, please feel welcome to email us at sayhello@bayouwithlove.com. All sale items are final sale.
Applicable orders at BaYou with Love are subject to a standard 30-day return policy from the date the order was placed. To receive a refund for the returned item(s), all returned items must be in new, unopened (if applicable) condition and include all original materials, including packaging materials such as jewelry boxes. Shipping and handling costs are non-refundable and the customer's responsibility, including return shipping. If your item(s) are returned in original condition within the return window, we will refund your original payment method.
On a case-by-case basis determined by the BaYou with Love team, a restocking fee of up to 10% of the returned item(s) price may be deducted from your return due to fees incurred and materials used. Fees incurred for returned jewelry items may include sanitizing, cleaning, repolishing, receiving, handling, and pickup fees. This fee will not exceed 10% of your total purchase price and will be deducted from your refund. This includes any piece we receive as returned that our team deems as needing special attention to be returned to original condition, such as but not limited to: scratch repairs, repolishing, chain untangling, and various minor repairs. Your item(s) will be inspected upon return to determine if they are eligible for a refund. If eligible, we will issue your refund within 5 business days of being notified by our fulfillment center of the inspection results. Additional fees may be required or returns denied in extreme cases, such as missing findings, broken chains, deep scratches, or signs of wear, misshapen or bent rings or posts, chemical interactions, etc.
LATE RETURNS:
If your order is returned outside of the 30-day return policy window from the date the order was placed, you will not be eligible for a refund. On a case-by-case basis, a late return may be accepted, and a refund may be given in the form of a BaYou with Love digital gift card. All accepted late returns are subject to a 10% late fee and restocking fee (as described above), which will be deducted from your credit. Your digital gift card amount issued will be in the amount of the original purchase, minus the 10% fee, or other amount as determined by our team after inspection of the returned item(s).
OTHER CASES:
If you participated in a sale including a "Free Gift with Purchase," your free gift must also be returned if you return the item(s) from your qualifying order. If you do not return your free gift with purchase, the current cost of the item on our website will be deducted from your refund (if applicable).
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods cannot be returned.
Non-returnable/Final Sale items:
- All prints
- Items on sale
- Gift cards
- Teas or other consumable goods
- All Beauty, Skincare, and Makeup products
- Some health and personal care items
- Used items such as candles and perfumes.
- Items noted as final sale on their product page
RETURN PROCESS:
The customer is responsible for paying for their own shipping costs for returning their item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.
When returning, we strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Lost, damaged or stolen return packages are not the responsibility of BaYou with Love, and you will not be refunded for packages that do not make it to our return center.
To return your product, you must contact us first for approval and a designated return address. If your return has been approved to send back to our third-party fulfillment center, please include your order number and name, and mail your product to:

Please note that the return locations vary by item. You may be assessed a receiving fee if you have not contacted us about your return and therefore sent it to the incorrect receiving center.
REFUNDS:
Once your return is received and inspected, we will determine if your return is eligible for a refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within five business days.
If you haven’t received your refund within 14 days, first check with your bank and/or credit card company for their policy and processing time. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you’ve done this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at hello@bayouwithlove.com and we are happy to help.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable):
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
- Defect after an extended period of time
- Other exclusions may apply
Exchanges (no exchanges):
All of our items are special edition and limited quantity. We cannot guarantee an item will still be available for exchange upon receiving your original item. Instead, we recommend that you order your wanted item immediately and then send your original item back to us as a return for a refund (if eligible and within 30 days of purchase.) You must contact hello@bayouwithlove.com to notify us that you will be returning an item, and if possible, please include a tracking number (recommended). We will try our best to accommodate exchanges for the same item (such as size exchanges), but it is not always possible.
Gifts:
If you received a BaYou with Love gift and would like to return, if found eligible the refund can only be processed to the original form of payment and buyer.
